Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Soccer Signs Nine Recruits For 2010

Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne University Women’s Soccer Team has signed nine recruits for the 2010 season, Head Coach Adrian Blewitt announced today.  L-R looks to follow up on last year’s 14-7-2 finish and berth in the 2009 Food Lion SAC Women’s Soccer Tournament Championship.

Future L-R Women's Soccer Player Andrea Rohrscheib To Participate In World Cup Qualifying

Pembroke Pines, Fla. - Andrea Rohrscheib, an incoming freshman on the Lenoir-Rhyne University Women’s Soccer Team, will participate in the World Cup qualifying tournament as she will play for the Venezuela U-20 National Team.  The tournament takes place from March 3 to March 17 in Colombia.

L-R Women's Soccer Assistant Cally Morrill Named Head Coach At Lees-McRae

Banner Elk, N.C. – Lenoir-Rhyne University Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach Cally Morrill was named Head Coach for the Lees-McRae Women’s Soccer Program on Wednesday according to Bobcats’ Athletic Director Craig McPhail.  Morrill will assume all responsibilities as head coach effective immediately.

Two Members Of The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Soccer Team Earn 2009 All-State Honors

Raleigh, N.C. – Lenoir-Rhyne University’s Elizabeth Hawes and Catherine Hauck were named to the 2009 NCCSIA College Division Women’s Soccer All-State Team.  NCCSIA is the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association.

Three Lenoir-Rhyne Players Earn NSCAA All-Region Honors In Women's Soccer

Kansas City, Kan. – Three members of the Lenoir-Rhyne University Women’s Soccer Team were named to the 2009 NSCAA NCAA Division II All-Southeast Region Teams.  Elizabeth Hawes (Valdese, N.C.) was chosen to the first team while Catherine Hauck (Lake Mary, Fla.) and Laura Linehan (San Diego, Calif.) earned third-team honors.
