Hollar’s work as Senior Woman Administrator includes her advising role with the Student-Athlete Advisory Council.

SAAC, the NCAA-mandated student-athlete study group, works with several charity groups within the community to raise money for philanthropy. Lenoir-Rhyne’s annual Rock-A-Thon raised a record $1,175 dollars for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in April of 2007.

In addition to her duties as SWA, Hollar also heads up Lenoir-Rhyne’s nationally-ranked softball team.

Hired prior to the 2000 season, Hollar has compiled a 313-116-2 mark as Bear mentor and is the school’s all-time winningest coach.

Under Hollar, L-R has captured four South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Championships (2000, 2004, 2006 and 2007) and four SAC/Food Lion Tournament Titles (2000, 2001, 2002 and 2007).

Hollar also led Lenoir-Rhyne to its first-ever NCAA Division II Playoff berth after qualifying in 2002 and made return trips in 2006 and 2007.

This past year, Lenoir-Rhyne posted a 48-10 mark and captured both the SAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships.

In 2006, the Bears put together a 52-12-1 record and a runner-up finish at the NCAA Division II South Atlantic Regional.

Prior to L-R, Hollar coached two years at Newberry (1998-99) while compiling a 45-61 mark and earning a share of the 1999 South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Championship.

Hollar received her undergraduate degree from Wingate University in 1996.
