Lenoir-Rhyne’s Rebecca Lin Named First-Team All-Region

Freshman from Northridge, Calif. named to the 2007 Daktronics NCAA Division II All-Southeast Region First Team

Gaffney, S.C. – Lenoir-Rhyne freshman midfielder Rebecca Lin (Northridge, Calif./Granada Hills HS) was named to the 2007 Daktronics NCAA Division II All-Southeast Region First Team for women’s soccer, officials announced today.

Lin led Lenoir-Rhyne in goals scored (11) and total points (25).

As an all-region first team selection, Lin is now on the ballot for Daktronics NCAA Division II All-America voting.

The Daktronics NCAA Division II all-region teams are selected by the sports information directors in each region. The Southeast Region is comprised of the South Atlantic Conference, the Conference Carolinas and the Peach Belt Conference.
