L-R Women's Soccer To Face NCAA Division I Competition This Spring

Hickory, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Women’s Soccer Team faces tough competition this spring by playing against several NCAA Division I programs. With games against Virginia Tech and Tennessee at the Tusculum indoor tournament, the L-R women will see top class players over the next few weeks.

On March 28, the Bears will travel to play Appalachian State and then on Sunday, April 6 L-R will play Western Carolina and East Carolina at the North Carolina Showcase at Bryan Park in Greensboro, (11 a.m. and 2 p.m. kick-offs). On Tuesday, April 8th, the Bears play Southern Conference-member Wofford in 11-vs-11 action at 7pm.

On Saturday, April 12, the Bears will travel to the Western Carolina 7-vs-7 tournament were they are scheduled to play against Division I programs, Western Carolina, USC-Upstate, Eastern Tennessee State, and Gardner-Webb.

The Bears will wrap up the spring schedule with the annual game against the L-R Alumni on Saturday, April 19 at 10 a.m.
