Sue Reuschle is entering her second season as Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2013.

Prior to being elevated to the Head Coaching Position in August of 2011, Reuschle was the Graduate Assistant Coach at Lenoir-Rhyne in the Bears' first-ever season of competition in women's lacrosse two springs ago.

In her first year as the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach for the Bears in 2012, Reuschle led L-R to a 12-4 record while doubling number of wins from the team’s first season iand jumping up 18 spots in the NCAA Division II national rankings to No. 26.

Five members of the squad earned First and Second Team All-Independent League honors this past spring and the Bears finished first in the nation last season in ground balls per game.

Reuschle comes to L-R after serving one season as the Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach at E.A. Laney High School in Wilmington, N.C. (2009-10).

Prior to Laney, Reuschle spent a couple of years coaching at the high school and middle school levels as a traveling goalkeeper coach for several teams in the Wilmington area.

Reuschle played for SUNY Oswego (2003-04) where she was a goalkeeper and midfielder before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.  At UNCW, she played club lacrosse for the Seahawks.

Reuschle also competed on the squad’s swimming and diving team for SUNY Oswego as well.

Reuschle graduated from UNC Wilmington in the spring of 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. Reuschle is also finishing her master’s degree in liberal studies at Lenoir-Rhyne University.
