Welcome to LRBears.com podcasting! You don't need an iPod to listen to our podcasts.

Three ways to listen:

1. To listen on your computer, just click on a blue link in the podcast directory below and the sound or video file will load and play on your computer (provided your computer has a sound card and can play multimedia files). Depending on your computer and your Internet connection, it may take anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes to begin playing.
    
2. Click on the iTunes button below to subscribe to our podcasts (note: you'll need to have iTunes installed to use this. Free download: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/). This way you'll get new podcasts automatically every time we post one.
    
3. Right-click over a blue link in the podcast directory below to download the file (CTL-click Mac) to your computer and listen through the playback device of your choice

What is podcasting?
Podcasting makes an audio file, typically an MP3 file, available online for downloading via an automatic "feed." This is also called "subscribing" to a podcast. You can then hear the podcast whenever you want from your computer or a portable media player.

What do I need to subscribe to podcasts?
The first thing you need is podcast subscription software. Your options include the latest version of Apple's iTunes (which has the software built in), or other services such as Odeo or iPodder, to manage your podcast subscriptions. At this point, you will already be able to listen to podcast audio from your computer (provided your computer has a sound card and can play MP3 audio files). If you want to make your podcasts portable, you will need to transfer them from your computer to a portable media device.

How do I subscribe to a podcast?
To subscribe to our podcasts, click on the iTunes button above. After you accept the subscription in iTunes, you'll receive new podcasts every time you open iTunes on your computer.
