Lenoir-Rhyne’s Jakin Fox Finishes Tied For 13th At The NCAA
Division II Men’s Golf Southeast Regional
Senior from Statesville, N.C., tallies a one-over-par 73 on the final day
of the regionals
Mooresville, N.C. – Lenoir-Rhyne senior Jakin Fox tied for 13th
overall at the NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Southeast Regional, which wrapped up
three rounds of play Wednesday at the Point Lake and Golf Club in Mooresville, N.C.
Fox, a senior from Statesville, North Carolina, and a graduate of West
Iredell High School, shot a 73 (+1) on the final day and finished with a
six-over-par 222 on the par-72, 7,037-yard course.
Fox was tied for 24th overall Monday and tied for 18th after the second round
Tuesday.
Georgia College and State University won the regional with an 872 (+8) while
GCSU’s Niclas Johansson was the top individual with a five-under-par 211.
