Lenoir-Rhyne’s Jakin Fox Moves Up To 18th After The Second Day Of The NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Southeast Regional

Senior from Statesville, N.C., shoots a 73 (+1) on the second day of the regionals

Mooresville, N.C. – Lenoir-Rhyne senior Jakin Fox moves up six spots and is now in an 18th-place tie overall after the second day of the NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Southeast Regional Tuesday at the Point Lake and Golf Club in Mooresville, N.C.

Fox, a senior from Statesville, North Carolina, and a graduate of West Iredell High School, shot a 73 (+1) in the second round on the par-72, 7,037-yard course and is now five-over-par (149) after two rounds of play.  Fox was tied for 24th after the first day.

Georgia College & State University (580, +4) remains in the lead while GCSU’s Niclas Johansson and Armstrong Atlantic State University’s Chris Wolfe are tied for first individually with a 142 (-2).

The third and final round takes place on Wednesday beginning at 8:00 a.m.
