Lenoir-Rhyne’s Jakin Fox Tied For 24th After The First Day Of The NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Southeast Regional

Senior from Statesville, N.C., shoots four-over-par after 18 holes of play

Mooresville, N.C. – Lenoir-Rhyne senior Jakin Fox shot a four-over-par and is currently tied for 24th overall after day one of the NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Southeast Regional Monday at the Point Lake and Golf Club in Mooresville, N.C.

Fox, a native of Statesville, N.C., and a graduate of West Iredell High School, shot a 76 on the par-72, 7,037-yard course.

Georgia College & State University is the top team after the first 18 holes, shooting a 285 (-3), while GCSU’s Juan Bialet and Newberry’s Daniel Stanley each shot a 69 (-3) and are tied for first individually.

The second round begins on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m.
