Cheerleading Spring Tryouts
Dates
Friday, April 25 - 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 26 - 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Place
Foothills Gymnastics Gym
(Magic Cheerleading Floor)
Attire
Women: gym shorts,
t-shirt or athletic top and cheer or soft soled shoes
Men: gym shorts,
t-shirt and athletic shoes
Tryout Requirements
Copy of a Sports Physical
dated within the last year.
Tumbling
(**Tumbling is not a requirement but preferred**)
-Standing Handspring
-Toe Touch Handspring
Stunt Requirements:
-Walk-In Stretch 360 Dismount
(Base and/or Flyer) (Men & Women)
-Chant/Cheer taught at tryouts
(Women Only)
-Short Pom Dance (2 eight
counts) (Women Only)
*All cheerleaders get a $1,000.00
Scholarship
*Athletic Training Room Access
*Uniforms, Warm-ups, etc paid
for
*Best seats in the house at
games
