Lentz Elevated To Associate Head Coach For Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Basketball

Lentz was also a four-year letterwinner for the Bears (1997-00)
Hickory, N.C. – Bryan Lentz
has been elevated to Associate Head Coach for Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Basketball,
Head Coach John Lentz
announced today.
Bryan Lentz has been an Assistant Coach for Lenoir-Rhyne the past seven
seasons. In that span of time, the Bears have won four South Atlantic
Conference Regular Season Titles, one Food Lion SAC Tournament Championship
and have earned three berths to the NCAA Division II Playoffs.
Bryan Lentz, a four-year letterwinner at Lenoir-Rhyne (1997-00), currently
ranks fourth on the school’s all-time list with 388 assists and 159 steals
and is No. 5 all-time on L-R’s career free throw percentage list at .824.
Bryan Lentz was also named to the 1997-98 All-South Atlantic Conference
Second Team and was the 1996-97 SAC Freshman Of The Year.
Bryan Lentz is a 2000
graduate of L-R with a bachelor’s degree in sports management.

(Lentz) has definitely earned this position,” said Head Coach
John Lentz. “He is a tireless
recruiter and has been invaluable both in practice and in games.”

position,” said Bryan Lentz.
