Marcus Springs is beginning
his first year as an
Assistant Coach for
Lenoir-Rhyne.
Springs was a four-year
letterwinner at guard for
the Bears (2002-04, 2005-07)
and is a member of Lenoir-Rhyne’s
1,000 point club (1,101).
Springs was part of three
South Atlantic Conference
Regular Season Titles, two
NCAA Division II Regional
Playoff berths and one Food
Lion South Atlantic
Conference Tournament
Championship team.
In his first season with
the Bears, Springs was named
to the 2002-03 SAC-All
Freshman Team.
A native of Charlotte,
N.C., and a graduate of
Myers Park High School, Springs
will finish his bachelor’s
degree in sport management
in May of 2008.
