Dahlonega, Ga. - Lenoir-Rhyne University's Cameron Sealey has been named to the 2011-12 Daktronics NCAA Division II Women's Basketball All-Southeast Region Second Team.
Sealey, a senior guard from Mount Holly, N.C., led Lenoir-Rhyne in scoring (16.1 ppg), free throw percentage (.795), three-pointers made (41) and steals (45) this season and helped the Bears finish the 2011-12 season with a record of 19-9.
Sealey, a three-time All-South Atlantic Conference honoree, has earned first-team all-league accolades the past two seasons (2010-11 and 2011-12).
Sealey ranks second in free throw percentage (.796), sixth in points scored (1,473) and 10th in assists (267) on L-R's all-time lists.
Sealey, a four-year starter, has been a part of two South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Championship squads and a pair of NCAA Division II Playoffs Teams (2008-10) and one conference tournament title (2009).
The team is sponsored by Daktronics, Inc., an acknowledged world leader in scoring, timing and programmable display systems for virtually every sport at every level of competition. The team is voted on by the members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
