L-R Women's Swimming Earns Academic Team Honors For The 2010 Spring Semester

Bears put together a 3.16 grade point average for the semester

The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Swimming Team was recognized as an Academic All-America Team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America for the spring semester.

Phoenix, Ariz. - The Lenoir-Rhyne University Women's Swimming Team garnered Academic Team honors for the 2010 spring semester.  The award is sponsored by the CSCAA (College Swimming Coaches Association of America).  The Bears sported a 3.16 grade point average this past spring.

To be recognized as an Academic Team, the cumulative GPA of the squad must be over a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Thirty-five NCAA Division II Women's Swimming Teams were recognized while the University of Indianapolis had the highest grade point average at 3.74.
