L-R Cheerleading Announces Tryout Dates For 2010-11

Tryouts take place on April 23 and April 24, 2010

Hickory, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne University Cheerleading Team will hold tryouts for the 2010-2011 season on Friday, April 23, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tryouts are open to incoming freshman, transfers and current L-R students. Attire/Appearance
FEMALES: Please
wear solid colored shorts, solid sports bra or fitted tank and
cheerleading shoes or soft-soled tennis shoes. Also, please wear your
hair half up and half down with a tied ribbon bow. (REMEMBER THIS IS
AN AUDITION DRESS TO IMPRESS)
MALES: Please wear athletic shorts and solid T-shirt or tank with tennis shoes.
Reminder:
Cheerleaders will have various practices during the week, workouts on
their own and will be performing at football games, basketball games
and various events throughout the community.
Auditions will be based on cheeerleading skills, physical fitness, interview presentation and showmanship.
