Sophomore Chelsea Hill finished with 12 kills in Lenoir-Rhyne's 3-1 setback to Tusculum Friday night in Greeneville, Tenn.

Greeneville, Tenn. – The Tusculum College Volleyball Team (16-11, 7-6) defeated Lenoir-Rhyne University (17-11, 3-8), 3-1, Friday night in a South Atlantic Conference match at Pioneer Arena.  The Pioneers won by scores of 25-22, 25-19, 18-25 and 25-21 to complete the season sweep of the Bears.

L-R was led by sophomore outside hitter Lindsey Cantu (Orlando, Fla.) with 15 kills and 17 digs while sophomore middle blocker Chelsea Hill (Lexington, N.C.) added 12 kills and freshman setter Meredith Lutz (Newton, N.C.) dished out 47 assists despite the setback.

Tusculum was led by Gina Coffaro’s (Cincinnati, Ohio) 18 kills and 24 digs and Peyton Colclough’s (Manassas, Va.) 49 assists in the victory.

Lenoir-Rhyne returns home to face league-leader Wingate on Tuesday beginning at 7 p.m., while Tusculum hosts Newberry in a SAC match on Saturday at 2 p.m.
