In addition, junior Dawon Millwood (Hixson, Tenn.) was named the 2011 SAC Pitcher Of The Year while 12-year mentor Shena Hollar earned conference coach-of-the-year accolades.

Hollar led the Bears to their seventh league regular season title this spring and earned SAC Coach-Of-The-Year honors for the second straight year and for the fourth time in her career.

Millwood, a three-time all-league honoree (2008-10), is 21-4 this year with a 1.37 earned run average (second-best in the SAC).  Millwood is also holding opponents to a league-low .185 batting average and is giving up a conference-low 4.6 hits per game in addition to eight shutouts and 140 strikeouts.
