Lenoir-Rhyne's Cameron Sealey Earns All-State Honors In Women's Basketball

Lenoir-Rhyne University junior guard Cameron Sealey has been named to the 2010-11 NCCSIA All-State College Division Second Team for women's basketball.

Salisbury, N.C. - Lenoir-Rhyne University's Cameron Sealey has been named to the 2010-11 NCCSIA All-State College Division Women's Basketball Second Team.  NCCSIA is the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association.

Sealey, a junior guard from Mount Holly, N.C., is a two-time All-South Atlantic Conference honoree (2009-10 and 2010-11) and earned first-team all-league honors this year.

Sealey led the Bears in scoring (17.9 ppg), free throw percentage (.801) and three-pointers made (49) this season and became the 17th player in school history to score 1,000 points in her career in 2010-11.

Sealey, a three-year starter, also led L-R to a 14-13 mark this year (11-7 in the South Atlantic Conference) and a third-place finish in the league standings.

Founded in 2002, the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) is comprised of sports information professionals from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA and independent institutions from the state of North Carolina. 

The purpose of the organization is to promote collegiate athletics at all schools.  Membership is open to anyone affiliated with a college, university or conference located in North Carolina, and whose area of responsibility lies within sports information.

NCCSIA selects all-state teams in the University (Division I) and College (Division II, III, NAIA) divisions for men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, softball and baseball.
