Rock Hill, S.C. - Lenoir-Rhyne University's Allan Jones has been named to the 2010-11 South Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball All-Freshman Team, conference officials announced today.

Jones, a freshman forward from Clemmons, N.C., led Lenoir-Rhyne in scoring (13.6 ppg), rebounding (5.3 rpg) and field goal percentage (.480) this year.

Jones also finished with four double-doubles on the season and averaged 14.9 points and 6.2 rebounds per game against South Atlantic Conference foes in 2010-11.

Lenoir-Rhyne (4-22, 3-15) returns all five starters and their top nine scorers for next season.
