Lenoir-Rhyne Athletics announces its first Paint the Town Red campaign to spread Bear pride and LR spirit throughout the Unifour area in support of Hickory's hometown team. In partnership with the City of Hickory, LR will host a Paint the Town Red Pep Rally on Friday, September 6^th at 6:30 PM in downtown Union Square prior to the Sails Original Music Series. On Saturday, the 7^th, fans are invited to wear red to the football game against St. Augustine's as the Bears kick off the 100^th year of football at LR. The game will kick off at 6 PM and will end with a fireworks show presented by OrthoCarolina.

Fans can outfit themselves in LR red by preordering an LR Fan Starter Pack for $40. The Starter Pack includes two T-shirts, two tickets to a home LR football game, an LR Football yard sign, and a 2019 football poster. This starter pack is exactly what any new LR fan needs to prepare themselves for attending a football game between the bricks.

The LR Fan Starter Pack preorder form is available at lrbears.com/PTTR. Preorders must be submitted by August 23^rd to ensure delivery in time for the September 7^th Red Out game. Packages will be available all season long.

Businesses can participate in painting the town red through our PTTR Business Packages that include LR flags, yard signs, shirts, tickets and more. These packages allow businesses to show their support of the Bears and provide a festive atmosphere for fans.
