2007 Homecoming Weekend
(October 12-13, 2007)

The PEF/Bears Club, the official fundraising arm of Lenoir-Rhyne Athletics, had one of its most successful homecoming weekends this year.  The 2007 Hanley H. Painter "Bear" Memorial Golf Tournament at the Lake Hickory Country Club at Catawba Springs and the sixth annual PEF/Bears Club Dinner/Dance/Auction/Gala netted $93,320 dollars.  The check presentation took place at halftime of Lenoir-Rhyne's annual Homecoming game against Wingate in front of 7,131 fans at Moretz Stadium.
