2007 PEF/Bears Club Board Of Trustees Dinner

The PEF/Bears Club, the official fundraising arm of Lenoir-Rhyne Athletics, held its annual Board Of Trustees Dinner on Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at the Lake Hickory Country Club in Hickory, N.C.  Seniors  Matt Smith (Boone, N.C./Men's Track and Field) and Anna Grove (Danville, Calif./Women's Golf) were named Lenoir-Rhyne's Male and Female Scholar Athletes Of The Year while Ashley Fox, a sportswriter for the Philadelphia Inquirer, was the keynote speaker.  In addition, the Piedmont Educational Foundation gave a record $837,000 to Lenoir-Rhyne.  Special thanks to Phil Robinson of SportsFotos for taking pictures of the event.
