Lenoir-Rhyne's Student-Athletes Raise Money For The Make-A-Wish Foundation

Hickory, N.C. - Lenoir-Rhyne's student-athletes raised $929.00 at its annual Rock-A-Thon, a three-day event to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation from April 13 through April 15.  The women's golf team (pictured here) was one of the Bears' 17 sports that took shifts rocking on L-R's "Front Porch."  This marks the fifth straight year L-R has staged the event.

Lenoir-Rhyne Moves Times Up For Home Basketball Doubleheader With Newberry Saturday

Hickory, N.C. – Lenoir-Rhyne University has pushed its times up for its home basketball doubleheader with Newberry College on Saturday.  The women’s game will now start at 2 p.m., while men’s contest is slated to begin at 4 p.m.  The game times were changed due to possible inclement weather.
